Acclaimed International Pianist Returns to West End Festival

Acclaimed International Pianist Returns to West End Festival

After receiving a standing ovation at his West End Festival debut in 2013, internationally acclaimed pianist Viktor Bijelović returns to Glasgow this year.

Viktor’s recitals are a truly wonderful experience; each piece is introduced with a little explanation or background which enhances the performance.  He has a strong technique combined with a poetic interpretation and innate pianistic artistry to bring the music alive and make it speak.  The evening’s programme will include works by Chopin, Liszt and Rachmaninov.

During the interval you can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine, and after the concert there will be an opportunity to meet Viktor and to purchase his CDs.

Serbian-born, Viktor studied at the Purcell School of Music and then went on to the Royal Academy of Music. He currently lives in London and has accumulated considerable performance experience both as a solo pianist and as a chamber musician and is also very involved in music education.

He gives his time and talents several times a year to the Lost Chord Charity which organises concerts for sufferers of Dementia.
