Get in a Spin – and get into shape

New Spinning Studio will make you fit for purpose

If you are aiming to lose weight or improve your fitness: get in a spin – the Boiler Room Fitness Spinning Studio to be precise.

Spinning is a studio cycle workout set to music and it can be as intense or as gentle as you wish.

Owner Michael Hynes said: “The great thing about Spinning is that workouts are great fun – and they really work.

“Spinning is becoming something of a global phenomenon because it is a minimum impact exercise routine.

“There’s no stress on the joints that you might get running for example, and it helps build up strength in the knees and ankles.

“The idea is that you work to a musical beat – at the pace that suits you.

“You can increase or decrease the intensity of your workout by adjusting the Spinning resistance.

“In effect, you can alter the type of “terrain” you are covering.”

The studio will be coming soon to the Western Health and Racquets Club in the West End.

You can keep up to date on the studio’s development at or on their Facebook page.
